    Product Spotlight: RLP77.

To say “dynamite comes in small packages” may be the greatest understatement ever made if referring to Rotary’s new RLP77. Rotary recently introduced this all new double section scissor lift and expects big things out of its tiny foot print. A sleek design coupled with some of the industry’s most innovative features makes this lift a must have in any shop environment.

The RLP77 can fit into the tightest spots, while still giving you power and wheels free pick-up. The powerful motor raises the platforms to the full rise height of 78 inches in just 39 seconds, making it ideal for quick service bays. Unlike other lift styles, the drive over design of the platforms allow a single technician to spot the vehicle, increasing the overall productivity of your shop. The durable lifting pads are stackable, which allows the RLP77 to pick up a wide variety of vehicles within its rated load, from low profile cars to SUV’s and small trucks. Flush mounting is also available, leaving you a clean looking and obstruction free shop floor.

As always, your technician’s well-being was top of mind when Rotary set out to design the RLP77. An incorporated locking system at each platform cylinder features our negative rake tooth design which provides worry free use and peace of mind. While competitor’s scissor lifts can become unbalanced if a single platform gets impeded, the RLP77 has Rotary’s patent pending SYNCHRODRIVE™. The SYNCHRODRIVE is a hydraulic system that maintains platform equalization during lifting and lowering cycles. Blocked Platform functionality prevents out of level situations in the event of platform or scissor obstructions, keeping the vehicle on the lift and your technician out of harm’s way.

Durability is another key aspect of the RLP77’s design. Constructed of high strength steel with powder coated diamond plate platforms, the structure is there for the long haul. The underhung ramps are equipped with rollers to increase reliability, and protect from un-level floor installations. Ramps are 13 inches in length, allowing for a low approach angle and maximum lift length. They also fold down 65 degrees providing better access to vehicle tires and suspensions. The ramps also include diamond plate to help increase drive-on traction and maximize life.

Whether looking for a workhorse lift in you most productive bays, or a quick and efficient lift for lube and tire, the RLP77 can be exactly what you are looking for.
