Introduction: OSHA mandates that all automotive lifts be inspected annually to ensure a safe working environment for employees. This mandate also gives business owners the benefit that their valuable investment stays in proper working condition so that the maximum usage and life-span be achieved.
(Step 1) Detailed Inspection: A First Choice authorized and factory trained service technician completes a detailed inspection on the specified lifts. The observations and information gathered will be compiled into a detailed report and given to the customer. This report will reflect the condition of the lift and itemize any conditions that need to be addressed.
(Step 2) Annual Maintenance: The annual maintenance recommended by the manufacturer will be completed during the inspection. Examples include: checking the torque of the lift anchors, adjustment of cables.
(Step 3) Recommendations/Repair Quotes: If applicable, a repair quote and recommendation will be provided to the customer. Repairs need to be completed before the lift can be approved for inspection.
(Step 4) Certification: When the lift satisfies the requirements set-forth by OSHA, a First Choice Technician will place a certification label on the lift. This means the lift has passed inspection and is valid for 1 calendar year.
